The moment I recieved the book, I was so captivated. I couldn’t put it down. I could immediately relate in so many ways.
It touched my inner parts and took me right into the story. It is amazing how God had a part in every chapter of the book. As it should be, because like the author said, she could not have done it without God.
This book is for all walks of life.
Its uplifting, inspirational and also food for the soul. It is a book that you can read over and over again.
The poems are phenomenal. Straight from the heart of the author. For me it gave me hope. That not every situation is hopeless. Even when it seems like you have reached your limit. It encourages one to break the limitations we place upon ourselves. Not to condemn ourselves, but to seek God in every situation both good and bad. For only in God can we reach our full potential. And this book proves that we have the ability to strive towards freedom and success.

Reader Review – Rise
What a book… Rise!
The title says it all – about the author, and as the reader, you can’t help but realise that it is your time to rise as well.
I started the book on a two-hour flight, and by the time I landed at my destination, I had finished it.
The stories remained deeply entrenched in my mind. The true stories of abuse, pain, and rejection – yet HOPE is so strongly whispered throughout the book Rise.
While reading Rise, I sensed that a Spirit of Freedom was being released.
Michelle has always been up to something great, and others naturally follow.
What I really enjoy about this book is that it’s easy to read, yet so gripping. The author takes you into the depths of painful stories, and right after, she blows you away with a mouthful of hope.
Michelle has proved it – nothing is too hard for God.
You can make it.
Look at you, girl – you’re doing it, inspiring us all.
